Crystal Clear Transitional Care is a clinical practice research firm dedicated to improving the treatment and management of substance abuse disorders here in New Brunswick. With the support of our community partners, we advocate for better policies, educate about new solutions, and promote wider access to lifesaving care.
Our Mission
The mission of Crystal Clear Transitional Care is to improve nationwide awareness, understanding, and treatment of substance abuse and addiction disorders in Canada.
We intend to enact this mission through community action, grassroots activism, and strategic partnerships from our center in Saint John, New Brunswick. The core values supporting our mission include:

Our Story
Crystal Clear Transitional Clear was founded in 2013 by Donna Collins, an experienced opioid researcher.
Donna first became involved in addiction treatment through her career in the correctional field. Shocked by the neglect and mistreatment of those struggling with addiction — particularly women — she set out to advocate for better solutions. Today, she uses her substantial body of research to drive community action.
Since 2013, Donna has seen a worsening epidemic, widespread misinformation, and insufficient government and institutional responses. The need for large-scale change is more pressing than ever. With the help of our strategic partners, Crystal Clear Transitional Care will continue striving for progress to help those most in need.
Transparent Reporting, Real Results
Why Crystal Clear? Because we believe in clear, transparent reporting and treatment standards. Like with any epidemic, addressing the opioid crisis starts with understanding it. That’s why Donna Collins has set out to report what she has seen in her correctional work and hold industry leaders accountable.
